Gotcha!
A-hem. Yes, anyway, so yeah, we're off down to the City of Sails this evening to visit my best mate L and her husband S.
There's a few things on the agenda: pick up a hood for my camera lens (not as in some dodgy looking character off a street corner; as in a winged plastic apparatus that slots on the end of the lens to stop glare like this one) and check out the prices of flashguns, secondly a wedding outfit for me (round #2 as the official photographer; this time for Kay and Richard on the 23rd of May) and Miss 8.8 (my cousin gets married down in Auckland on the same day so the Other Harf and I can't make it, so she'll be tagging along with the rest of the family) and thirdly long overdue haircuts for myself, the Other Harf and Miss 8.8
As well as this, we'll be watching a spot of live sport as L is playing netball on Saturday afternoon, and S is kicking off the season with his Over-35 year old footy team. Fortunately for the Other Harf he won't be seconded on the field as goalie as apparently his back is killing him, again.
And of course there'll be the ritual consumption of takeaway pizza and a little bit too much wine.
What's in store for the first weekend in May for you?

A slap and a kick for being so quick!
hey Fi, is the netball still on considering all the rain? Have fun in Auckland :-)
Yep, they play in torrential winds and gales at North Shore, I think they only cancel when there's actual thunderstorms. It was miserable and cold on the sideline!
