  2. I only wear one item of jewellery: my wedding ring
  3. I got an apprenticeship as a photolithographer when I was 17 years old but couldn’t be bothered with the hour long (two) bus journey so I turned it down. My mother got me a job as a data entry clerk. I so wish I has sucked it up and just taken the bus…

  5. A good hamburger, in my opinion, is completely spoilt by tomato sauce/mayonnaise/relish/sauces full-stop.

  7. Our daughter was a “surprise” in that we did not plan on having her, but she is the best surprise we have ever had.
  8. I proposed to the Other Harf on a London Underground platform. We were going to view a flat in Tulse Hill. He said yes, about an hour later.
  9. We have a dog called Pippa, who we got from the SPCA as an 8 week old, extremely naughty and very willfull puppy!

  13. I belong to a Roller Derby league. I’m not very confident, yet, but one day I will be and then, I am going to play.
  14. I have owned four Mark 1 Ford Cortinas over the years. One day I would like to buy one and do it up (or, pay somebody to do it up) and then go cruising on a Sunday afternoon with the windows down.
  15. I wear Clarins Eau des Jardins.
  16. I wish my cheekbones would come back. I used to have great cheekbones.
  17. I love shows when long-lost families find each other. I always, always cry.
  18. I pierced my own ears when I was 15. And I do not recommend it.
  19. I would love to get a tattoo of a tui. But I have to find the right design first.
  20. I have been blogging since 2003.
  21. I collect green depression glass and one day I want to go on Antiques Roadshow and have them tell me it’s worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
